Drivers
For elite performers who want to build consistency, confidence and control under pressure.
Performance Beyond the Track
Supporting drivers, parents, agents and teams to build the person behind the performance.
01 / The gap
Drivers are coached technically and physically, but the person behind the performance is often left to work it out alone.
They are expected to manage pressure, travel, setbacks, media, sponsors, family dynamics, education, identity and career uncertainty, often before they have the tools or support structure to do it well.
Podium Mentality exists to close that gap.
We support the human side of performance, helping drivers and their support networks build the clarity, confidence and structure required to thrive in high-pressure environments.
02 / Who we support
The driver sits at the centre. The people around them shape whether performance is protected, pressure is managed and progress becomes sustainable.
For elite performers who want to build consistency, confidence and control under pressure.
For parents who want to support the person behind the driver without increasing pressure or confusion.
For those guiding young talent through the demands, transitions and expectations of the pathway.
For organisations who want stronger human performance, driver care and personal development systems around their talent.
03 / Human performance support
A scalable support model for individual drivers, small performance environments and organisations who want F1-level standards around driver development, welfare and performance.
Flagship retainer
A season-long human performance support programme for drivers who want consistency, confidence and structure across the demands of a full campaign.
Support can include baseline profiling, season planning, pressure mapping, routines, preparation, race weekend review, reflective practice, communication support and end-of-season development planning.
Best for: drivers, parents, agents and management teams who want consistent support across a championship campaign.
Day-rate add-on
In-person race weekend support available where presence in the environment would add value. This is designed to support preparation, reset strategies, emotional control, communication and post-session reflection in real time.
Trackside support is usually added to a full-season retainer or agreed as part of a defined project.
Best for: retained drivers, parents, agents and teams who want support during key tests or race weekends.
Lite framework
A lighter-touch version of the Podium Mentality framework for smaller teams, agencies and high-potential individual drivers who want to build stronger support around performance.
This can include driver care, mental performance structures, parent and agent communication, education and lifestyle planning, values and behaviour standards, reflection routines, transition support and development planning.
Best for: smaller teams, agencies, families and ambitious drivers who want a more professional support structure without requiring a full team-wide framework.
Full framework
A strategic framework for teams, academies and organisations who want to build a professional human performance environment around multiple drivers.
Designed for programmes that want more than ad hoc support, this work helps create clear structures across mental performance, driver care, safeguarding and welfare, education, communication, values, behaviours, transition support and aftercare.
Best for: F1 teams, driver academies, junior teams, agencies and organisations responsible for developing and supporting multiple drivers.
04 / The performance system
A simple, repeatable support model built around the person behind the performance.
Central focus
The person behind the performance.
Confidence · pressure · control
Prepare · reset · reflect
Structure · consistency · recovery
Parents · agents · coaches · teams
Performance is built around the person, not just the result.
05 / The method
A simple operating model for turning pressure, experience and feedback into performance growth.
Understand the driver, their environment, current demands, strengths, stressors and support system.
Create shared clarity between the driver and the people around them where appropriate.
Build routines, mental skills, communication habits and personal structures before pressure arrives.
Support the driver through tests, race weekends, setbacks, transitions and key career moments.
Turn experience into learning through structured reflection, feedback and development planning.
